Our Professional Team includes four Licensed Architects, including a LEED (Leadership in Energy Environmental Design) accredited professional. The firm’s principals are members of the American Institute of Architects and we are licensed in twelve states. Our clients receive personal, responsive attention from the principals.
James E. DeBarbieri, AIA
James E. DeBarbieri is a registered Architect and Senior Principal for the New Jersey architectural firm, DeBarbieri Architects, LLC, which was established in 1985. He has more than 40 years experience providing architectural services for new construction projects, additions, as well as building renovations, and architectural consulting services from concept to completion.
Mr. DeBarbieri has provided expert witness testimony at Planning Board Hearings and Board of Adjustment Hearings in New Jersey, New York, Connecticut and Pennsylvania for the past thirty-four years.

He has more than 23 years experience providing architectural services for new construction projects, additions, as well as building renovations, architectural troubleshooting and architectural consulting services from concept to completion.
Al Paulo has provided expert witness testimony at Planning Board Hearings throughout New Jersey for a variety of project types and sizes. Al Paulo is a LEED accredited professional with specialization in Building Design and Construction

Design and Drafting Staff
Our experienced in-house design staff consists of architectural project managers and computer aided drafting and design professionals. We have in-house plotting and printing capabilities. With our cloud based storage we are able to efficiently exchange files and drawings, allowing streamlined communication with clients and consultants.
